Install ScenarioDeck

Download the current desktop build from scendeck.com/download. Platform availability and release notes are published there.

Local Alpha from source

Section titled “Local Alpha from source”

If you have been granted access to the Local Alpha product checkout, use Node.js 24.19.0 and pnpm 11.4.0. In that checkout, run:

pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm --filter @scenariodeck/desktop start

The app starts with an empty State Card library. Use Capture current state to create your first card.

License status

Section titled “License status”

The Settings screen shows the safe local license status. If activation is required, redeem a current activation code there. If a code cannot be redeemed, use the email recovery link shown by the app; never paste activation codes into issue comments or chat.
